So the frog agreed to take the spiocorn across the river. He swam over to the bank and settled himself near the mud to pick up his passenger. The spiocorn crawled onto the frog's back, his sharp claws prickling into the frog's soft hide, and the frog slid into the river. The muddy water swirled around them, but the frog stayed near the surface so the spiocorn would not drown. He kicked strongly through the first half of the stream, his flippers paddling wildly against the current.Halfway across the river, the frog suddenly felt a sharp sting in his back and, out of the corner of his eye, saw the spiocorn remove his stinger from the frog's back. A deadening numbness began to creep into his limbs. You fool! croaked the frog, Now we shall both die! Why on earth did you do that? The spiocorn shrugged, and did a little jig on the drowning frog's back. I could not help myself. It is my nature. Then they both sank into the muddy waters of the swiftly flowing river.Self destruction Its my Nature , said the Scorpion An Interesting article regarding this fable We, the electorate are complacent in our own destruction and haven’t the gumption to assume responsibility for our actions bur would rather lay it off on the elected.   Most high streets are full of potohs like this now. I couldn't imagine life without the internet but it's also a shame my kids and grand kids won't have the same memories of the little corner shop with dusty shelves full of interesting things. Now it's the local hypermarket. I wonder what this guy is doing now ?

  Maybe next time Billy, you'll not allow me to be presumptuous to your pooisitn by only posting a link with no follow up explanation of why in particular you chose that link. Especially when you don't designate who the link is for.One could only presume that you are responding to this article and therefore the link was relative to your thinking.And yes, I did read it, all of it. I thought it was interesting but did not see how that applied to this particular article unless it was Laila you were directing the diagnosis of panglossia at. I'd never heard of that term prior.That's where the pessimistic attitude is taken from.. maybe you posted the wrong link.. maybe you didn't, but it seemed like an attack on intelligence rather an application of.Maybe you can explain your thought on that link and why you posted it, pretend everyone isn't as smart as you and doesn't use big words all the time to seem intelligent.If you explained yourself a tad bit better, presumptions wouldn't be made.As for your facebook link I cannot follow. So, your attempt at belittling me fell flat.I can get my head around you being a pompous ass, as opposed to presumptuous.As to your blame, shame and criticism, all you've done is cement in my opinion of you.You think because you know something all others should instinctively know where you're coming from (yes, sometimes long and windy is better than just a little fart). You think that because you know something and another doesn't it makes them and idiot?You just name call all you like, I couldn't care less. I had an opinion on a statement you made that, had it been better thought/written out, wouldn't have caused any confusion.Have a nice day.

  Uhmm.. Billy, I'm sorry but I will have to retract or btcrakack my position about you. You went from good link poster to absolute tard in a single sentence.If Laila is a pessimist, then good, she acknowledges that there are a lot of bad people (or bad politics, they're intricately intertwined) out there who are striving to cause harm to the population and this province under the guise of leader(s) .BUT, She's also an optimist, she proves many times over her hopeful thoughts and ideas and blogs that there is a good side to this, that hopefully these bad people will go away or do at least ONE RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS IN THEIR LIVES.She asks for change, she works for change by giving her time and energy.. and you have the gall to call her a pessimist? What have you done to create change or inform people of such?You Billy, are the pessimist, to leave a post and link like you did suggests that you think badly of Laila and the people of this province (and others) trying to make a difference in our politics and in our everyday lives.Bad thinking people are useless and should go back to playing with tonka toys and waiting for mom to make grilled cheese.I'm sure you've had your share of hecklers Laila, you've chosen a field that is full of pessimistic people and haters like Billy there.
